Haikyu!! 1

After losing his first and last volleyball match against Tobio Kageyama, the King of the Court, Shoyo Hinata swears to become his rival after graduating middle school. But what happens when the guy who is supposed to be his rival end up being his teammate?!

Maybe you know that to this manga an anime also excists. I started watching the anime and I also read the manga and I can say they both are very funny and also a lot about friendship. In the manga the artstyls is definitly one that I like a lot. So if you or someone you know is looking for a manga that’s funny, sometimes serious and also has a lot of amazing character development. This is the perfect book. (I would recommend reading more than the first volume thought, otherwise you wouldn’t really be able to see the character development)

Haikyu!! 2

After proving themselves to be the ultimate combination in their practice match against Kei Tsukishima, Kageyama and Hinata aare finally allowed to join the club! Hinata’s true „power“ – to perfectly time his spikes with his eyes closed – is awakend, and nothing can seem to stop this crazy setter-spiker duo. Now their skills are about to be put to the test at a practice game against one of Kageyama’s former teammates from middle school, Tohru Oikawa.

Just like the first Volume, the second one is also amazing. We can see a friendship starting too bloom between the „rivals“ and also their other teammates. We can also experience their first match, even if it’s only a practice match. If you read the first volume, I would definitly recommend reading this one too and even further volumes.

Bungo Stray Dogs

Having been kicked out of the orphanage, a despairing young man by the name of Atsushi Nakajima rescues a strange man from a suicide attempt–Osamu Dazai. Turns out that Dazai is part of a detective agency staffed by individuals whose supernatiral powers take on a literary bent!

Like by Haikyuu, there also is an anime about this manga, so if you like the manga I would recommend checking out the anime too. I loved reading the manga, I haven’t finished the whole book series yet though (since there are a lot more volumes). If you read more than just the first Volume you can see amazing character development. What I also liked very much about this book series is the fact that every characters name is the name of an irl author for excample: Osamu Dazai or Edgar Allan Poe. Another thing I enjoyed a lot is getting to know the backstory of a lot of characters and also the relationships between them. All in all it’s one of my favourite mangas and I would defenitly recommend it.
